Important Safety Instructions:

  • Voltage Limitations: This coaxial cable is strictly designed for low-voltage signal transmission (75Ω RF/video signals). Do not use it as an electrical power supply line or connect it directly to mains electrical wiring.
  • Observe Minimum Bend Radius: Avoid sharp bends, severe kinks, or crushing the cable during pulling. A minimum bend radius of at least 10 times the cable diameter (≈ 66mm) should be maintained to prevent dielectric deformation and impedance drops.
  • Proper Stripping & Connector Fitting: Use appropriate coaxial cable strippers to prepare ends. Ensure no loose strands of the 64 x 0.12mm aluminium braid short-circuit with the central 1.02mm CCS conductor when attaching F-type or BNC connectors.
  • Conduit Protection for Outdoor/Underground Runs: The 6.6mm PVC jacket is rated for indoor application. If running outdoors, underground, or through harsh damp areas, route the cable through sealed UV-resistant PVC or metallic conduits to prevent moisture damage and weather degradation.
  • Grounding Antenna Systems: When connecting to outdoor antennas or satellite dishes, properly ground the coaxial cable shield at the building entry point using a certified grounding block in compliance with local electrical safety codes.
  • Avoid Excessive Tension During Pulls: Do not exceed standard cable pulling tension limits. Excessive pulling force can stretch the CCS core or split the outer PVC jacket, compromising signal performance.
