Important Safety Instructions:

Ensure Proper Grounding: Because this cable utilizes double shielding (S/FTP), the braid and foil layers must be properly grounded at both ends using shielded RJ45/GG45 connectors and grounded patch panels. Un-grounded metal shielding can inadvertently act as an antenna and draw ambient noise into the network.
Observe Minimum Bend Radius Limits: Do not bend the cable beyond eight times its outer diameter during installation. Excessive bending or kinking can rupture the individual foil wraps around the twisted pairs and crush the outer braid, degrading high-frequency 600 MHz shielding performance.
Respect Maximum Pulling Tension: Avoid using excessive force when pulling through conduits or around tight corners. High tension can stretch the solid 23 AWG conductors and deform the internal metallic shielding layers, leading to permanent signal attenuation.

Inspect Shield Termination Clearances: When stripping the outer orange PVC jacket, take care not to nick or slice the inner tinned copper braid or individual pair foils. Ensure any trimmed braid or foil debris is cleared away to prevent short circuits against internal conductor pins.

Separate from High-Voltage Direct Contact: While the S/FTP shielding protects against electromagnetic noise from nearby power lines, the outer PVC jacket is rated for low-voltage signal transmission only. Avoid running the cable in direct physical contact with uninsulated high-voltage AC electrical lines.
